About

Founded by Alex Feldman, a pioneer of online audio, Pixiu was established as a response to the growing needs of both brands and broadcasters to create high quality, innovative content for multiplatform. We create stand out editorial, strong audience engagement and experiences that people love to share.

Pixiu helped Channel 4 Radio win the 2008 bid for the UK’s National Digital Multiplex, facilitated the creation of the UK’s first venue based 24 hour Radio station run by young people at Camden’s legendary Roundhouse and won a Broadcast Digital Award for the most downloaded podcast ever for E4’s Skins.

Working with the UK’s major players in entertainment, music and youth, Pixiu currently produce content across a wide range of specialist areas including news for Channel 4, music for the BBC, comedy for British Airways and much more.

Pixiu have always remained ahead of the curve with online radio and podcast production and this is reflected clearly in the impressive company they keep and the quality of the programmes they produce.

The programmes I've worked on with Alex Feldman have been characterized by both technical excellence and deep knowledge of the subject matter. This ensures that the very listenable documentary goes to the heart of the topic in the most credible of ways.
